Made and Tasted
I've worked as a chef at Tavola in Charlottesville and prepped salmon, octopus, and tuna at a poke spot in college. These days, I eat everything. I'm obsessed with trying new food. I always check what Anthony Bourdain ate in a city before I visit.
He will always be my favorite chef.
In a world where people are increasingly controlled by algorithms and losing touch with reality, food remains one of the best ways to understand people and cultures.
Two apps I would highly recommend (both are referral links):
1. Blackbird - crypto-native dining app that gives users free $FLY tokens to spend at restaurants in NYC (and a few other cities). I've probably spent $400+ on food with this app and none of it was my own money. You can use my referral link to get $20 in $FLY to start.
2. Beli - a social media platform for ranking food spots around the world.
Below are snapshots of things I've tried. Some are from my travels abroad, some from NYC, and some from kitchens I've worked in. Mainly, I'm just trying to eat everything and wanted a place to store my memories in an organized way.
